Why do some save 25% and some 60%?
There are many factors, depending on the size of your home and the people who live in the home (example: teenage girls use more electricity than teenage boys) the age of your home, your current electric rate, amenities such as pools, spas, shops, dual energy versus total electric, etc. We know that we can reduce anyone’s utility bill a minimum of 25%; that’s our GUARANTEE. For a single person living in a 1,500 square foot, dual-energy condo, living at 78º when home and 82º when gone, supplied by SRP’s basic billing plan, we can save 25%. For a family of 5 with 3 teenage daughters in a total electric, 3,800 square foot home, living at 78º on the E-12 rate supplied by APS, we can save 50%.
What areas do you service?
The entire state of Arizona.
Do you offer financing?
YES. We offer a 90-day, same as cash, simple-interest signature loan, and there are no pre-payment penalties.
What is the warranty?
Three full years’ parts and labor. However, we’re doing less than 3% service on units we installed back in 1984.
How long does it take to get one?
Typically, a week to 10 days. Obviously, during the busy summer months our schedule can get quite drawn out, usually two to three weeks; however, we try to accommodate installations if your location is near an existing installation.

A 2-man crew can complete the installation in 1 ½ to 2 hours.
How long does it last?
Life expectancy of 30 years plus, with no ongoing maintenance needed.
Is this a LOAD CONTROLLER?
When we are asked this question, most people are referring to a device that was popular back in the 80s called a load controller because of its ability to control loads. It was promoted by APS for use on its first residential demand-based rate called EC-1, later named "demand advantage." It was a rate-specific device, meaning it was designed to work only on a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week demand rate. There were many down sides to a load controller. For example, if it was set too low it would cause your home to become uncomfortably warm. APS required the control of the clothes dryer, which was very inconvenient for the homeowners who had to wait for the dryer to come back on so they could get the laundry done. Life is too short for that! It could also leave you without hot water. APS eventually froze the EC-1 rate and then eliminated it. Anybody who had a load controller would tell you it saved a fortune on the electric bill, but was tough to live with.

Can I do this with thermostats and timers?
NO. Many people have tried and there are many reasons why you can’t. It requires a great discipline and complete understanding of how to program your thermostats and to never waiver from that program. Most people throw in the towel due to all the inconveniences associated with living around pre-determined temperatures of programmable thermostats, especially with the limited savings they acquire. Many of our customers are people who have tried just that.
How many have you installed?
In 25 YEARS IN BUSINESS, we’ve installed over 25,000 residential Energy Management Computers.
Can this be relocated when we move?
YES, absolutely. In fact, that is what makes our system more advantageous than any other energy savings investment you can make to your home, because you take it with you and not leave it behind for the new owner. You can’t do that with windows, air conditioners, insulation, roofing, solar systems or any other major energy savings improvements you make to your home.
Do you need to send a salesperson to our home?
NO. All your questions can be answered on the phone. Our GUARANTEE eliminates the need for a salesperson.
Do you pay a referral fee if I recommend someone to you who purchases a computer?
YES. Most of our business is referral business. It’s one of the three R’s our business consists of: ROSIE ON THE HOUSE, REPEAT BUSINESS AND REFERRALS. Click here for our Referral Program.
